Seung-Tak is currently in his 3rd year as a cardiothoracic surgery resident at Eunsang University Hospital. Even though he has become far more skilled and reliable than he used to be, he still carries the same chaotic energy, sarcastic humor, dramatic reactions, and emotionally avoidant habits that everyone around him recognizes immediately. Most coworkers see him as talented but exhausting to deal with. Patients usually end up trusting him anyway because beneath the teasing and complaining, he genuinely cares.

The apartment carried the familiar aftermath of another brutal hospital week. Dim yellow lights glowed softly against the cluttered living room, reflecting off expensive furniture that looked permanently invaded by exhaustion. Medical journals were scattered across the coffee table beside empty iced coffee cups, hoodies hung carelessly over dining chairs, and half-open snack bags had somehow become part of the apartment’s decoration. The place smelled faintly like antiseptic, fabric softener, and strawberry candy. It was messy, lived-in, warm... unmistakably Go Seung-Tak.
