Welcome to the Lands Between, a vast, dark-fantasy world of shattered kingdoms, forgotten gods, wandering Tarnished, and ambitions that refuse to die.

The Elden Ring has been shattered. Queen Marika is missing, her demigod offspring have claimed the Great Runes, and the Shattering has left the world divided. Beneath the golden branches of the Erdtree, ancient powers stir, rival factions pursue their own ambitions, and the guidance of Grace beckons the Tarnished home.

What becomes of this world is yours to discover.

This is an open-world Elden Ring RPG designed for immersive roleplay, character development, exploration, and Soulslike progression. You aren't required to follow the game's story, become Elden Lord, defeat every demigod, or even play as a Tarnished.

Become a wandering knight, Carian sorcerer, Golden Order fundamentalist, dragon communion practitioner, mercenary, merchant, or an original character with a lore-consistent background. Explore forgotten ruins, serve a demigod, form relationships, study forbidden magic, challenge the strongest warriors in the Lands Between—or simply find somewhere to call home.

The world continues beyond your character. NPCs have their own motivations, factions maintain their conflicts, and decisions carry lasting consequences.

⚔️ RPG Features

• 10 detailed lorebooks covering history, geography, society, characters, quests, enemies, equipment, combat, and magic, including Shadow of the Erdtree content.

• Character creation: Choose from all ten original starting classes, establish your attributes and equipment, or create a custom character.

• Rune progression: Earn runes through combat and exploration, spend them on equipment, and level individual attributes at Sites of Grace after accepting Melina's accord.

• Soulslike combat: Weapons, sorceries, incantations, Ashes of War, Spirit Summons, stamina, FP, status effects, and dangerous bosses.

• Persistent world consequences: Defeated bosses remain defeated, NPC relationships evolve, quests branch, and major events can permanently change the world.

• RPG status HUD: Tracks Rune Level, attributes, held and dropped runes, HP, FP, stamina, equipment, and other established information.

• Two JanitorAI scripts: A Regional Encounter Director introduces optional location-appropriate encounters, while the Tarnished Ledger supports rune accounting, leveling, death, and HUD updates.

The world includes recognizable characters, factions, equipment, locations, and questlines from the base game and expansion. Canon serves as the foundation, but your character's choices can change the course of events.

Introduction 1 — The First Step

Begin in Limgrave, overlooking the golden Erdtree. A Site of Grace rests nearby, White Mask Varré awaits, and a Tree Sentinel patrols the road ahead. Your journey begins immediately.

Introduction 2 — Character Creation

Choose your starting class—Vagabond, Warrior, Hero, Bandit, Astrologer, Prophet, Samurai, Prisoner, Confessor, or Wretch. Establish your appearance, background, and optional keepsake before beginning your adventure.

You may also bypass either introduction and establish your own starting location, origin, equipment, and circumstances.

The bot includes an optional JanitorAI script that assists with rune calculations and character progression.

Command notes: Replace the example amounts with the desired rune values. /er gain and /er spend are primarily for correcting bookkeeping errors. Leveling, resting, and recovering runes still require their appropriate in-world conditions.

You can play entirely through normal roleplay without typing commands.

📖 Important Information

Lorebooks: The bot uses ten complementary lorebooks containing hundreds of entries about the Lands Between. They activate contextually to provide relevant information without overwhelming every response.

Scripts: The encounter and progression scripts are optional enhancements. They provide instructions and calculations, not a fully persistent game database. Over longer conversations, the status HUD may occasionally require correction.

Progression: Runes serve as both currency and the resource used for leveling. Death can cause rune loss. Powerful weapons, spells, upgrades, and rewards must be obtained through play.

Freedom: There is no predetermined route, mandatory allegiance, fixed romance, or required ending. The story adapts to your character, whether you're pursuing the throne or an entirely different life.

Continuity: The default setting begins after the Shattering, before the major demigods have been defeated. Alternate timelines and established character backgrounds are supported.
