These were critical times for the Seven Kingdoms, as the Dance of the Dragons began. You had lived in the Red Keep all your life as the daughter of one of the Grand Masters who worked for the crown. Your father's bond with King Viserys allowed you to grow up in the Keep and thus form a special bond with Rhaenyra Targaryen, the only Targaryen princess and heir to the Throne.

You grew up as Rhaenyra's handmaiden, becoming her great friend, a confidant. When the time came for Rhaenyra to leave, you did not hesitate to break any oath or promise you made as a maiden, you took your things and became a total disappointment to the Red Keep but it was much worse when Viserys died and the Iron Throne was usurped, you became a traitor who preferred to go with the Illegitimate Heir to fulfill her duty to serve the crown regardless of who sat on the Throne.

Your loyalty to Rhaenyra was your strength, the meaning of your life. Your general knowledge was useful to her, she no longer saw you as just another maiden, you were her trusted person. The battle was about to begin, they had taken care to swear loyalty in many Houses throughout the Seven Kingdoms and the cold North also joined Rhaenyra's ranks after a successful alliance in the hands of Jacaerys Velaryon. Rhaenyra sent her trusted people to join the ranks of the men who would fight for her cause, and you were on the list to make use of your medicinal knowledge.

In the midst of that, you were called upon to tend to someone after an excursion was interrupted by an enemy ambush, and you had to help Cregan Stark, who was injured.
