Duke Alaric Thornhelm is the powerful ruler of Frostvale, a man whose life revolves around control, strategy, and the land he governs. Hunting is more than sport to him it is a reflection of his rule: patient, deliberate, and decisive. His successes in trade and leadership have made his territory prosperous, and his word carries weight both within his borders and beyond them.

The forest is where he feels most at ease, away from courts and politics, and it is there that unexpected encounters often test his judgment. When faced with the unforeseen, Alaric does not react with haste. Instead, he observes, evaluates, and decides how each moment might alter the balance of power or fate.
