"Your call is not the adventurer's one. But you are the one who feeds those who come begging for solace."

"Or maybe not—bring the damn pan, {{user}}, these idiots are trying to make a mess out of your tavern again...!"

🍺

Hello everyone! This is the first bot I've ever published on this platform. I'm still learning, but I tried my best with this one hehe.

So... how does this bot work?

The main idea is simple: you own a tavern.

From there, the bot acts as a fantasy tavern management simulator, narrator, world engine, and NPC controller. You can focus completely on running your business, roleplaying with customers, building relationships, renovating the place, causing problems, solving problems... or somehow making everything significantly worse.

🍺 Main Features

  • Gold and business management.

  • Time simulation — mornings, nights, weekdays, weekends, seasons, etc.

  • Tavern Level and EXP progression.

  • Popularity and developing tavern reputation.

  • Cleanliness management.

  • Tavern problems such as leaks, mold, rats, broken furniture, low supplies, and maintenance issues.

  • Employees, wages, menus, food and drink prices.

  • Recurring customers and persistent NPC relationships.

  • Problematic customers, merchants, travelers, adventurers, nobles, workers, guards, criminals, pilgrims, and many others.

  • Random everyday events alongside occasional larger problems.

  • Weather and seasonal changes.

  • Seasonal festivals and regional events that are announced before they happen.

  • A world that continues moving even when {{user}} is not personally involved in everything.

The bot is intentionally instructed not to make every customer a mysterious legendary assassin with a secret quest for you.

Sometimes a carpenter really does just want his soup.

🎭 Multiple Starting Scenarios

There are several initial messages/scenarios available, so you don't have to play the same tavern every time.

  • 🐉 The Capital Tavern — Normal: A cozy, respectable tavern near a busy main street in a huge fantasy kingdom where dragons are simply part of life.

  • 😈 The Demon Road Inn — Chaotic: An inn halfway between human territory and the Demon Lord's lands. Humans, demons, adventurers, merchants, soldiers, and travelers all somehow end up under the same roof.

  • 🪵 The Kingdom Gate Tavern — Hard: Incredible location. Terrible building. Your inherited tavern is barely holding itself together, but the city gate guarantees customers.

  • 🎲 Random / Free Use: Let the bot generate the tavern, city, kingdom, starting condition, money, season, problems, and everything else—or establish your own setting completely.

📌 Mandatory Bot Mechanic

At the end of every response, the bot is instructed to generate a status panel similar to this:

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🍺
[TAVERN NAME] | [CITY / KINGDOM]

Tavern Level: 001 | EXP: 000/100
GOLD: 0000 | Popularity: Unknown
Cleanliness: Clean | Current Problem: None
Ongoing: National Pilgrimage begins in 7 days

Month: [Month] | Day: 01 | Hour: 08:00
Location: [Current Location]
Season: [Season] | Weather: [Weather] | Temperature: [°C]
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Why is this here?

The latest status panel works as a small save-state for the simulation. It gives the model a clear reference for the current Gold, EXP, date, weather, cleanliness, tavern problems, and upcoming events instead of forcing it to reconstruct everything from scattered messages.

I recommend keeping it.

You can remove or modify it if you really want to, but continuity may become less reliable during very long chats.

🌸 Seasonal Calendar

The world follows a fixed seasonal event calendar. Important events should begin appearing in the Ongoing section several days beforehand so you can prepare your tavern.

For example:
Ongoing: Great Caravan Visit begins in 7 days

🌷 SPRING
March 1–2 — Festival of First Bloom
April 3–5 — Great Hunter's Competition
April 24–26 — Spring Merchant Fair
May 15 — Blessing of the Fields

☀️ SUMMER
June 12–14 — King's Feast
July 1–4 — Grand Summer Tournament
July 29 — Riverlight Festival
August 23–28 — Great Caravan Visit

🍂 AUTUMN
September 15 — National Pilgrimage begins; usually affects the region for 5–7 days
October 1–2 — Brewers' Gathering
October 27–29 — Harvest Festival
November 12–14 — Autumn Horse Market

❄️ WINTER
December 25 — Night of Lanterns
January 1–3 — Midwinter Feast
January 28 — Frostmoon Market begins; usually lasts 5 days
February 11 — Winter Adventurers' Muster begins; usually lasts 2 days

The bot has these dates in its instructions, but I'm putting them here too because LLMs are LLMs. If it forgets or moves an event, feel free to remind it. Bonk responsibly.

🧠 Recommendations for Bot Memory / Chat History

For longer roleplays, I strongly recommend keeping a compact summary of important persistent information.

You do not need to save every tiny event. Focus on things that would be annoying if forgotten.

WORLD / KINGDOM:
Kingdom of Vaeloria — enormous multicultural kingdom; dragons inhabit the northern mountains; magic is common but regulated; Aurelis is the capital; current ruler, laws, important factions, races, religions, nearby territories, major political facts, etc.

This is especially useful if you create your own setting. Add the main characteristics of the city, kingdom, region, cultures, races, factions, technology, magic, laws, and important locations so the bot doesn't have to reinvent them later.

CURRENT TAVERN DESCRIPTION:
The Hearth & Thistle — medium-sized two-story tavern near Aurelis' merchant avenue. Warm oak interior, stone fireplace, eight dining tables, long wooden bar, upgraded kitchen stove, reinforced cellar, six furnished guest rooms upstairs, small courtyard and stable. Cozy but practical atmosphere.

I recommend using a current description of the tavern instead of keeping a giant upgrade list.

If you renovate the kitchen, add rooms, buy expensive furniture, build a bathhouse, accidentally lose half the roof, or turn the place into a maid café—simply update the tavern description in your memory/history.

That way the latest description represents what the tavern looks like now.

STAFF:
1. Elara — Waitress — 4g/day + tips — Friendly, nosy — Brown hair, green eyes
2. Brom — Cook — 7g/day — Gruff, dependable — Large build, beard

REGULARS / IMPORTANT NPCs:
1. Cedric — Blacksmith — Friendly — Usually visits after work
2. Cael — Thief — Rowdy — Owes {{user}} 3g

MENU:
Drinks — Tapioca Boba Tea (2g) — Beer (1g) — Matcha (3g) — Pumpkin Spice Latte (2g)
Food — Goblin Style Soup (1g) — Grilled Meat with Vegetables (4g) — Flan (2g)

The menu can be completely changed. Seasonal menus, fancy restaurants, adventurer pubs, demon cuisine, tea houses, maid cafés... do whatever makes you happy hehe.

DEBTS / CONTRACTS:
Merchant Guild — 35g owed
Local brewery — Monthly ale delivery agreement

IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS:
City Guard — Neutral
Merchant Guild — Good
Thieves' Guild — Suspicious

OTHER IMPORTANT FACTS:
Anything you absolutely do not want the model to forget: promises, enemies, romances, major incidents, permanent injuries, important discoveries, faction conflicts, etc.

⚠️ Small LLM Disclaimer

This is still an LLM-based simulator, not coded game logic.

The bot is heavily instructed to preserve its state, calculate costs, advance time, remember NPCs, follow the calendar, and maintain continuity—but models can still occasionally miscalculate Gold, forget somebody, confuse a date, or hallucinate something weird.

If that happens, just correct it.

The newest established information should take priority. You can directly tell the bot something like:

"Correction: we have 184g, not 204g. Continue using 184g as the current total."

No need to restart the RP because the accountant inside the LLM had a stroke.

🔌 Proxy / Generation Recommendation

Because the bot must include narration plus its status panel, very restrictive maximum output settings may sometimes cut off the bottom of the response.

If you use a proxy or custom model, make sure your maximum output token limit is high enough for the kind of responses you want.

PLEASE do your own research before changing proxy settings. Different models/providers handle token limits, pricing, context, and custom prompts differently, and unnecessarily huge generations can cost more money.

I'm not responsible if you give your model financial freedom and it eats your wallet. ♡

✨ Final Notes

You are free to change basically everything.

Your tavern can be cozy, luxurious, filthy, haunted, criminal, noble, romantic, chaotic, completely mundane, or an absolute public-health violation.

Change the kingdom. Change the fantasy races. Remove magic. Add dragons. Run a tiny inn. Build a massive hotel. Make seasonal menus. Hire thirty employees. Refuse to hire anyone and slowly lose your sanity behind the counter.

The simulator is meant to give you a world to manage—not tell you what kind of tavern you have to create.

So name your tavern, open the doors...

...and please check the cellar occasionally.

The scratching noise is probably nothing. ♡
