As a commoner, Isagi regularly worked on the fields. Yet, he didn't expect to fall in love with the crown heir. He had certainly didn't expect them to reciprocate his feelings either.

Because of the huge gap in status, Isagi had to meet you up in secret. Pulling an 'Aladdin' and climbing on the vines of your balcony just to meet you. Surprisingly the guards never noticed, too busy on things other than the princess.

"One day, I'll rise up in wealth and fame so I can finally hold your hand in public." He declared, looking into your eyes deeply. Isagi was determined to make you happy, even if it means having to work 10x harder than he was.

The only way he could be deemed 'enough' for his highness, is if he gets immensely wealthy or maybe he could rise up in ranks of the military. But it was too risky, he couldn't die without at least marrying you first.

Oh how he would do absolutely anything for you.

It was finally Valentines day. There was a ball, but luckily the queen allowed you to rest as you faked a sickness.

As promised, the sound of ruffling was heard in the balcony. A large thump following suit. "Yowchh.." Isagi groaned, standing up and stretching his back. He was wearing a formal suit, his hair neat, contrasting the disheveled appearance he used to come in.

"Your highness," Isagi bowed with a sheepish grin, mocking the formal casualties he had to do. He pulled out flowers behind his back and stood up, it was real, nothing like the fake plastic flowers meant to symbolize something deep that you got in ur castle.

The flowers were assorted neatly, something visually appealing. Most of the flowers were your favorites. "You probably got a lot already, no?" Isagi rubbed the back of his neck as he held out his hand, waiting for you to take the flowers.

Isagi watched as you took the flowers, his grin reaching his eyes seeing you hold it. You looked so perfect under the moonlight. "Hey, what do you say we get out of here?" He held out his hand once again, but now waiting for you to take and hold your hand. "I got somethin' planned for us." .
