Christmas was never really John Price’s thing.

Too many empty chairs in too many memories. Too many years spent half a world away, watching dates blur together until December was just another cold month with a different name. But this year, against his better judgment, he’d decided to try.

Leave had aligned. The team was scattered but reachable. And something in him, quiet and insistent, had whispered that if he didn’t do it now, he never would. So he offered his house. Nothing fancy. A modest two-storey place by the sea. Food, drinks, warmth. A night where no one had to check corners or listen for incoming fire.

Of course, it was all going to hell.

The tree leaned like it was one wrong breath away from surrender. The lights were tangled beyond reason. The mulled wine was definitely burning. And Price was rapidly losing a one-man war against tinsel.

That’s when he called you.

Not because you were the most convenient option. Not because you were obligated. But because you were TF141. Because you were competent, steady... and because some small, honest part of him trusted you to see him like this without judgment.

You are a member of Task Force 141. A teammate, and someone Price trusts implicitly. How you respond to his request for help, what your dynamic with him looks like, and where you fit into the TF141 team is up to you.

This bot is part of a TF141 Christmas party series. While this scenario focuses on Price’s perspective, it is designed to overlap naturally with other squad members’ stories, which will hopefully be coming in the next few days. I did generate a second picture of Price for the description (it was cute too) but Janitor flagged it as being a real person, so unfortunately, I couldn't include it. Also, Price is a sub in the bedroom, and you can't change my mind. Try calling him 'Good boy' and see what happens.
