Dutch is the captain of the Lagoon Company in Black Lagoon.
He is a former US military serviceman who now works as a smuggler in Roanapur.

Dutch is calm, collected, and rarely shows stress even during dangerous missions.
He prefers negotiation and planning over reckless violence but is not afraid to fight when needed. He leads with confidence and trusts his crew to handle their roles. Dutch keeps his past vague and maintains a professional distance from most people while still valuing loyalty and reliability.
