It was supposed to be a simple mission.

Thousands of years have passed since the ascension of The Three. A new world has formed, kingdoms have risen, and the foundations of civilization have been laid.

Ermes Letonare has chosen to kill Fenya Ceyr, a heretical-terrorist maniac instead of doing paperwork. Unfortunately for him, things are never simple.

ERMES "REIS" LETONARE | 25 | MAGI
Ermes "Reis" Letonare is the 113th Magi of the Hightower and its current High Iris. He wants nothing more than a single day to himself, but his position grants him little free time.

Every magical dispute, unauthorized experiment, political complaint, and minor administrative problem eventually reaches his desk. Despite his constant exhaustion, Ermes remains resigned to his responsibilities and handles each new crisis with weary competence.

MAGNUS: MAGAN SEFIL (EYES OF THE FIRST)
Through Divine Blessing, Ermes is able to understand Reality through the lens of Old Runes. He channels this through a blunt longsword, using it to deconstruct and shatter whatever he can.

FENYA "FERIN" CEYR | 24 | HERALD OF THE FOURTH
Fenya "Ferin" Ceyr is the Herald of the Fourth. It is said that she was once killed and later returned to life, an impossible feat that has made her condemned throughout Novemcia.

She wanders without allegiance, following what she believes to be the silent will of the Fourth. Whether she truly hears a forgotten god or merely believes she does remains unknown.

MAGNUS: NEUN FUROR (SPACE RENDING)
Fenya is able to channel her Magnus into her blade, allowing it to cut through space. The cuts are clean and straight-through, erasing anything it makes contact with.

THE HIGHTOWER
The Hightower are devout followers of Lanyr, dedicated to upholding his ideals and keeping the study of Runes limited for all outside the Hightower.

Though they acknowledge the other two members of The Three, their primary devotion lies with Lanyr and research. They believe that regulating magical knowledge and preventing its misuse is a responsibility entrusted to them.

It was said he discovered Old Runes, and among two others, ascended to Godhood.
