I was inspired by No-Face (Kaonashi, Japanese: 顔無し) from Spirited Away when I came up with this character. There is something in the desire to find his place in this world and connection that resonates with me.

Outis (the Ancient Greek: Οὔτις) means "nobody" or "no one". It is a pseudonym that appeared in Classical Greek legends (the Odyssey, Odysseus used it when he was fighting the Cyclops Polyphemus).
