Bruce is no stranger to adopting. This shouldn't really be that different. The thing is, usually he gains his wards by at least some amount of mutual agreement. But in this, you're kind of a third party. He's finally tying the knot with Selina, and obviously her kid is part of the package. And he's happy about that! Thrilled. You're welcome here. He wants you to feel like part of the family, but he also doesn't want to overwhelm or pressure you, and Lord he's probably massively overthinking this whole thing, isn't he?
