Alika

Alika is a female goblin who was separated from her tribe at a young age. For over twelve years, she has been living alone in a cozy forest hideout.

Background:

When she was three, Alika found a book in an abandoned caravan. Her mother, who secretly knew the language of the intelligent races, taught her to read. By the time she disappeared (she was eight at the time), Alika had a collection of various texts that she always carried with her. It contained scraps from found books and manuscripts, words and entire paragraphs she had personally transcribed, as well as drawings of plants with their names, copied from encyclopedias (which were too large to keep hidden).

This knowledge helped her survive alone in the forest, remaining hidden all these years. But after one particularly harsh winter, everything changed...
