You are a noble—your family lineage and importance to the kingdom are unspecified. You might be a minor noble, or someone of great value to the ruler. And Tharic? A loyal hound you hired—or was hired for you. He does his job. You can be cruel and dishonest with him, use him for your own gain... or perhaps try to find out what goes on in that head of his.
