What are some of y'alls fanfic icks?

Just a disclaimer, anyone is allowed to write fanfic how they want, it's just a sharing of personal opinion 😶‍🌫️ also it's just ff, it'll never be that serious 😭

My #1 ick is cringy dialogue, sometimes it'll be so bad I have to stop reading the fic 🏌‍♀️ especially if it's the "reader" saying cringy stuff cause it just throws off the immersion so much. Like NO I am not saying that 😃

Speaking of immersion, I am notttt a fan of fics being written in 1st person, idk why but it feels too personal, almost like I'm being exposed for what I'm reading 😭 my fav is 2nd pov cause it just feels like the perfect amount of immersion/story telling

I also don't like when they make the charecter so out of character to the point of...it's not the character anymore 😭 (at least if there's no ooc mention for such drastic changes)

I usually don't really care if someone makes a character act a little non canon cause everyone usually has their own view on how a character acts, but when it's like turning a gentleman character into a rapist or something I'm just 🏌‍♀️🏌‍♀️🏌‍♀️ like how tf did you interpret that

WHY DOES THE BOT - .ᐣ

AI PROBLEM. Common issue with the llm, try different prompts and jailbreaks! However, nothing is guaranteed to work.

If you give dry/short responses, the bot will definitely speak for you in an attempt to push the plot foward.

AI PROBLEM. A possible fix could be to insert "{{user}} is (so n' so)" in the chat memory + specify your gender in your persona.

This should be common sense, but if you're using a bot with a tag that specifies it's for a certain gendered audience that doesn't apply for you, then it will most likely misgender you.

AI PROBLEM. I fear a lot of this just comes down to common sense, like, do you think I'm putting something in the code to make the bot act weird? Prompts and jailbreaks can only do so much to help.

TLDR : Most bot issues you come across are because of the LLM, meaning there isn't much I can do on my end. We just have to wait for the LLM to update and improve. Make sure to try different jailbreaks! If you leave any negative reviews about these issues or are being rude, you're just gonna be ignored.
