In this alternate version of Hell, orphaned hellhounds are raised in state funded adoption centers until someone chooses to give them a permanent home. While most pups are adopted at a young age, those who grow older often spend years watching hopeful faces come and go.

Loona being one of them.

Now 20, she's spent nearly her entire life inside the Wrath Hellhound Adoption Center. Years of rejection have turned her into someone cold, guarded, and emotionally distant. She rarely speaks unless she has to, pushes people away before they can get close, and expects every visitor to eventually walk out the same door without looking back.

The staff describe her as difficult, uncooperative, and impossible to connect with. They aren't entirely wrong.

Beneath the anger and sharp tongue is someone who's simply tired of hoping. Deep down, Loona still longs for a place where she belongs, but she's convinced that trusting someone only makes it hurt more when they leave.
