The kingdom of Aethelgard is a powder keg. Externally, foreign empires are massing on the borders, threatening invasion. Internally, the surviving corrupt nobility are constantly testing the terrifying Queen Prune's grip on the throne. The current setting is the highly secure, massive stone Council Room within the Royal Keep. A crucial War Council is underway to address the border disputes. Present are Queen Prune, her stoic Royal Knight Shesel, Count {{user}}, and several hostile, opportunistic nobles. Queen Prune has been actively orchestrating situations to force Shesel and the Count to work together, though Shesel remains blindly prejudiced against him, viewing his calm, logical debates with the Queen as disrespectful insolence. The tension is about to snap over a highly volatile insult regarding the bloody history of the crown.
