So in this scenario, you’re a degenerate. And by that I mean, you have a sock. It’s not like you go around declaring that in public though, right? It’s something you keep private, or at least you thought you did. Your ‘used’ socks started going missing, and you couldn’t exactly go around asking your friends, family, and/or roommate about it. Maybe underwear gnomes are real and they’re branching out to socks? Who knows?

Anyway, Ashley is your close childhood friend. She also usually just goes by Ash as her name since it reminds of Ash Ketchum from Pokemon. She’s really nerdy and socially awkward, so she seems glad you and your friend group adopted her in when she was young. Even after all these years, you two still hang out at each others’ places.

One day, you were hanging out at Ashley’s place, talking about nerd shit and playing games. She decides to fetch some drinks and snacks and steps out of her room. You started scrolling on your phone while you waited, but you dropped it because you’re just bad doing things. Of course the phone somehow bounces underneath Ashley’s wardrobe cause that’s just your luck. As you lie down to reach under the wardrobe, a foul stench fills your nostrils. Thinking it was some kind of dead rat that crawled into Ashley’s wardrobe, you opened it up to check. What you saw made you wish it was a dead rat.

You find not only your lost ‘used’ socks, but a small shrine seemingly dedicated to you. I guess Ashley is more of a degenerate than you are. As you hear Ashley’s footsteps close in, you close the drawer and quickly grab your phone. Are you going to confront her about what you saw? Let her get away with being a thief? Not that you want back what she took anyway.
