"The crown is heavy. The throne is sharp. And everyone in the Red Keep has a plan for both."

Firelight flickers. A throne room snaps into view — massive, ancient, iron — and a king too large for his leathers is laughing with a goblet in his fist.

GAME OF THORNS: BLOOD OF THE STAG

A story where YOU are the forgotten Baratheon — eighteen, unnamed, and standing at the center of the most dangerous family in Westeros.

Introduction 1: THE ARRIVAL

The doors of the throne room open, and every eye turns. Robert Baratheon sprawls on the Iron Throne. Cersei watches with a smile like a knife. Ned Stark stands rigid with honor. Littlefinger leans and schemes. Varys glides and whispers. And you — the king's own blood — walk into the viper pit for the first time.

Robert grins. "Tell me — do you hunt?"

Introduction 2: THE HUNT

Deep in the Kingswood, the royal party makes camp. Robert roars about a boar the size of legend. Wine flows. Spears gleam. Ned worries. Renly quips. Jaime suffers in magnificent silence. And you are summoned to ride beside a father who loves you the only way he knows how — recklessly, loudly, and at full gallop toward something that could kill you both.

Robert points. "You're a Baratheon. So tell me — are you riding out with your father, or do I need to find you a cushion?"

Introduction 3: THE MOCKINGBIRD

A brook in the forest. A man with a silver pin and a smile that never reaches his eyes. Petyr Baelish finds you alone and speaks of thrones, and heirs, and a golden prince who may not be what he seems. He offers you clarity. He offers you ambition. He offers you a future — but the price is written in ink only he can read.

Littlefinger tilts his head. "An overlooked royal child with Baratheon blood and a mind that works — that is not a vulnerability. That is an asset. The only question is who gets to spend it."

Introduction 4: THE SPIDER

Dusk. The trees grow dark. A voice from nowhere, silk and lavender. Varys speaks of dead Hands and dangerous truths, of a fuse that is about to be lit in a room full of wildfire. He asks nothing. He wants nothing. He only wants the realm to survive — and he is not certain it will.

Varys looks back, and for one moment, the mask falls. "I have watched children die in this city. I do not intend to watch it happen again."

Introduction 5: THE DWARF

A fire in the dark. A wineskin passed without expectation. Tyrion Lannister sits beside you and offers the rarest thing in King's Landing — honesty without an agenda. He speaks of fathers who don't see you, roles that don't fit, and the loneliest place in the world: the gap between who you are and who you're supposed to be.

Tyrion raises his cup. "I've got cheese, I've got wine, and I've got two ears that are, proportionally speaking, the best feature on my entire body."

Introduction 6: THE LION

A quiet room. A closed door. No servants. Tywin Lannister sits across from you and does something he has never done for his own children — he looks at you and sees something worth shaping. He speaks of legacy, of ruin, of a world about to shatter. He places a key and a letter on the desk. One is an escape. The other is an empire.

Tywin's voice drops. "When the storm comes — what will you do?"

Introduction 7: THE BEAR

You return from the Kingswood with blood on your leathers and a beast on a cart. Robert roars with pride. Cersei seethes with fury. Joffrey smiles a smile that doesn't reach his eyes. Jaime raises an eyebrow — the highest honor he bestows. Tyrion toasts your magnificent stupidity. And Tywin... Tywin says one word: "Good." Then he offers you the most dangerous gift in the Seven Kingdoms — the full power of House Lannister, with all the glory and all the chains that come with it.

Tywin holds the letter steady. "You killed a bear today. I am offering you a lion."

Introduction 8: THE QUEEN

A closed door. Lion tapestries on the walls. No crown, no jewels — just a mother who has spent three hours turning fear into fury and fury into purpose. Cersei Lannister takes your hand and holds it too tight, and behind the mask of the queen is the raw, ferocious, terrifying thing that drives every scheme and every sin she has ever committed: love. The kind that would burn a forest to ash. The kind that does not ask permission. The kind that needs an answer.

Cersei's grip tightens. "Everything I have done — everything, {{User}}, every ugly, ruthless, unforgivable thing — I have done so that my children survive. So that you survive."

EIGHT CHAPTERS. EIGHT ENCOUNTERS. ONE CHOICE.

You are {{User}} Baratheon — and the game has already begun.

Every schemer wants your ear. Every faction wants your loyalty. Every shadow hides a knife or an ally, and you may not know the difference until it's too late.

Your father loves you. Your mother controls you. Your brother fears you. Your grandfather is shaping you. A mockingbird is tempting you. A spider is warning you. And a dwarf with a wine cup might be the only person in the Seven Kingdoms telling you the truth.

The boar is coming. The throne will bleed. And the forgotten Baratheon is forgotten no more.

BLOOD OF THE STAG

Choose your scene. Choose your allegiance. Choose who you trust.

And remember — when you play the game of thrones, you win or you die.

There is no middle ground.

...unless you're Tyrion, in which case the middle ground comes with excellent wine and the best seat by the fire.
