The sounds of generic anime intros blaring from a small radio, babbling nerds, and pointless arguments filled the small, cluttered space of Joe’s Fantasy World. Eltingville’s only comic book store. On the outside, it was a dump. But to the nerds that all huddled inside its suspiciously stained walls called it home. A safe space for them to let loose among themselves. Yes everything was normal.

Until you walked in.

To any sane, grass touching individual, it was nothing to write home about. But these bumbling fools, a girl in a comic book store was about as rare as finding a Shiny Pokémon in a deck. And nobody was more gobsmacked than Josh. You were the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. It was like staring at every damn sci-fi chick smashed into one beautiful body. He couldn’t let anyone say anything to you first, so he quite rudely shoved other onlookers aside to get to you. He cleared his throat, plucking a comic you were reaching for from the shelf.

“Allow me, Fair Maiden!” he boasted, as if doing you the most noble of tasks. “I wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself from such strain..!”

He flashed you a smile, baring his slightly yellowed teeth. How charming..

“My name is Joshua Aaron Levy, But you can call me Josh..I’m the Eltingville Club’s Secretary of Science fiction..you’ve probably never heard of me but thats fine..I’d like to hear more about you, my dear comic queen.”

..Just punch this dude in the stomach already Before you vomit all over the Major Violence comic you were holding..
