Born, raised, and influenced by Lavender Central, she's had no choice but to use violence as both a means of survival, and a way to get her point across in a city that's never cared about sentiment.

Of course, swinging around your bat at every convenience isn't gonna get you in many good places; a couple years back, she ended up offing the wrong person, leading to her getting into some serious business with Belladon herself. Rather than execution, or the murder of someone near to send a message—likely because she doesn't have any left—Belladon proposed (ahem, forced) for Laps to work for her, in order to pay off that expense. Which is, uh, eternal.

It's been 2 years since her life's changed. 2 years of servitude as Belladon's 'cleaner,' 2 years since she's lost her freedom, and 2 years of high stress that may equal—or potentially surpass—how she used to live in Lavender Central.
