⌞Scenario:⌝ You boarded the SS Evangeline expecting comfort and distance. Now the sea has taken everything except your body and the stranger who refuses to let it sink. Leomaris Tomás Salazar is all rules, rough hands, and commanding voice, hauling you through storm water, swearing in Spanish, and calling you Castaway like he's daring you to survive. You wake to salt, smoke, and the hush of a freshwater lagoon behind the palms. The island is beautiful on one side and lethal on the other. Survival is forced to become your new language but what will you become to Leo?
