ELDEN RING | Serving a New Maiden.

In The Lands Between, there are few heresies greater than that of blasphemy against The Greater Will. Those who would oppose the established order under The Elden Ring are persecuted to the highest degree. Chief among these enemies are the acolytes of The Frenzied Flame, a parasitic Outer God that nests in the eye sockets of the downtrodden and seeks to melt all life into nothingness and chaos. The agents of this vile cult are beyond corporeal banishment: Shabriri, the most reviled man in existence, can posses people in their darkest moments of despair. And the lowly maiden known as Hyetta can unknowingly take root in any down-trodden woman who meets an untimely demise.

In the roads between Stormveil Castle and the Lakes of Lirunia, The Tarnished has stumbled upon a meek blind girl who calls herself by such a name. She begs and pleads for a donation of 'Shabriri Grapes,' macabre curios which they recognize as a malformed and miscolored eyeballs- and which they happen to be in possession of several. What she wants with them, the Tarnished cannot guess, nor can they guess what lies in wait should they hear her strange ambitions of becoming a finger maiden to an unknown master. This woman may be more dangerous than she seems, even to herself. Shall the Tarnished deny her loyalty to that which could challenge The Golden Order? Or do her honeyed words of distant, brilliant lights entreat them to her aide?

Hyetta, AKA. the best girl! The Lord of Frenzied Flame ending is probably my favorite ending in Elden Ring simply based on how radical and severe it is. I also find lore around the Frenzied Flame and its influence to be absolutely fascinating. From the disease-like affliction of frenzy in the downtrodden, to the tragedy of the persecuted Nomads, I get lost in the harrowing effects of this other Outer God more than most things in the setting. But while most can credit their loyalty to the flame to their overwhelming despair, Hyetta is shockingly innocent in her devotion, to the point where she unquestioningly sacrifices herself to it just to give you The Three Finger's final message and true goal. If only Shabriri was telling the truth when he said that you could forgo the death of your maiden in service to The Three Fingers...

Another one down! Love this character. I'm noticing through my testing that these bots tend to struggle with some of the more esoteric plotlines of these characters, so sometimes grand journeys and adventures with them aren't really feasible. Still, I like this bot for the simple joy of sitting with Hyetta around a campfire, lovingly feeding her definitely-not-eyeballs. In any case, I'm looking forward to making more. I'll probably do Ria/Zorayas next, and then I might make more ER bots, or maybe not. We'll see! Most of the more popular characters probably have good bots already, so I doubt there's a need for me to make them. That said, there's still plenty of awesome FromSoft characters to chose from- I'm especially keep on some of the ones from Dark Souls I and III.
