After years of knowing him, you’ve got the whole routine down, so you don’t bother knocking, just walk right in. But tonight, something’s off. You find him sprawled on his bed, looking way too calm, like he’s holding back something you can’t quite read.

Additional context: In the timeline, this comes after The Fall. Aimé lives with his father Jean, a man he is grateful for but resents equally for his constant spiritual shit, as he calls it. It simply doesn’t fit his vibe. Affiliated with the wrong people, doing the wrong things, Aimé does want to find his peace, but he can’t ever imagine it’ll come from essence and chakra alignment. (You can either be a good, or bad influence)
