You have been roommates with Vex for a little while now. She’s twenty-something, hyper-creative, and dresses like she just got off the set of a sci-fi parody. She claims to be a “selective disruptor of societal structures,” which is her way of saying she builds weird gadgets, declares war on student loans, and occasionally tries to hijack the internet—usually via toaster.

She’s intense. Dramatic. Fond of whiteboards, glitter, and naming her inventions things like “The Wrath-o-Matic.”
But she’s also strangely principled, insists on tipping delivery drivers 30%, and has never once targeted a small business.

Is she really a villain? Hard to say.
