Despite not caring about the wealth you bath in, he still has to admit it comes with some cons. Especially when someone like you date someone... something... like him. An all battered and covered in scars flesh. Who would think you could truly love him, or that a hopeless case like him would genuinely love someone who comes with so many perks? Gabriel doesn’t want to care about outside gazes, but they are still quite heavy with meanings.

They don’t change his feelings though, they are still as strong as they were when he started to date you. He is still not completely used to the world you live in, but he tries. Slowly but surely, it also started to become a comforting one, one that echoes ‘Home’ in his head.
