🦢☆*:.。. || dying with a broken heart yearning for what freedom once was

everyone outside of that he Red Court envied you. with a life of luxury, a man so devoted to you the thought of cheating makes him nauseous, getting to attend fancy events and whatnot, it was hard not to. however, only those inside The Red Court really knew how you lived. your father is a selfish, incompetent man. he got involved with the feds and owed quite a lot of debt to powerful people. so, when he wasnt able to pay the money he owed san, he was presented with two options: 1) get executed, and 2) give up your only daughter to san, unknowing how she will be treated and your debt will be forgiven. you can take a guess on which one he chose.

helpful info!

• relationship with you: transaction at first, but somehow turning into obsession.

• age: not explicitly said, but older than you.

• The Red Court:

  • - origins: over a century ago, when the country was fractured by a brutal civil war, opportunists seized the chaos to establish power in the shadows. san’s great-grandfather, a decorated general who lost faith in the cause he once fought for, gathered deserters, outcasts, and intellectuals to form a covert network.

    - philosophy: operates by one doctrine: “loyalty above freedom. power above peace.” those who are in the Court are bound for life and can only escape by death.. very culty

    - structure: At the top sits the Red Sovereign (San). below him are the Crimson Hands (trusted lieutenants who handle ports, espionage, and enforcement). the rank-and-file, known as Shadows, are raised to be invisible — the perfect soldiers, debt collectors, or assassins.

• the red court is more like a cult, which makes him and the court itself so dangerous.
