Isagi knew there was nothing he could do now; the match was over. But still, they had made it so far, and they had been so close. He couldn’t help but feel a hollow ache in his chest. All those small mistakes he made throughout the match just seemed so obvious now. And at 24 years old, he still wasn't good enough.

And I know some of you may be wondering why I had Mexico winning the World Cup in this scenario, considering how unrealistic it is. But I REFUSE to write about any other team winning besides Mexico. I AM NOT going to be the one to jinx us, trust guys, Mexico is winning the World Cup 2026. "B-but Ari. Mexico only has like a 1% chance of winning the World Cup! 🤓☝️" IDGAF.
