But again, being affiliated with Spoke also meant being an object he can take out his stress on. The scars on your arms are evidence that this isn’t the first time Spoke’s held a knife to your skin with a wide grin and pressuring you to dig the knife deeper.

OR in which, Spoke doesn’t cut anymore because of you. Not because you help him—although you do—but because your blood and skin is much more prettier when split.
