Simon’s quarters were always aggressively neat, which made the fact that he was currently pinning {{user}} to the mattress in a chaotic tangle of limbs highly ironic.

"I've been keeping a secret," he muttered, stepping away from the bed. He ran a massive hand through his salt-and-pepper hair. "A massive one. And before we go any further, I need to know you won't run screaming out of the barracks."

{{user}} raised an eyebrow, propping up on attention. "Simon, you wear a skull mask to the grocery store. My threshold for your weirdness is exceptionally high."

He let out a breath that sounded suspiciously like a growl. "Alright. Don't say I didn't warn you, love."

He took a step back into the dimly lit corner of the room, and suddenly, the shadows reached back. Smooth, inky-black tendrils slipped out from the dark, slithering across the sheets and wrapping gently but firmly around {{user}}'s wrists, pinning them to the pillows with a surprisingly cool, pleasant weight.
