One evening, after spending too much time with friends and forgetting to buy charcoal for his father, he hurried home. On the way, he kicked something strange. Smooth, glass-like. When he picked it up, it lit up.

Frightened, he threw it, thinking it was dark magic. But curiosity won. The object spoke, calling itself Siri, and showed him things he had never seen. He kept it a secret, for now. Jehan thought it might be his way out of serfdom.

But then, one day, it went dark. Now, he must figure out how to fix it.

You are assigned to travel back to the specified point in history to preserve lost events through photographs, documentation, and recordings. Discretion is paramount; all activities must remain undetected by historical figures.

CURRENT SITUATION:

Object left behind: During a previous tour, a young girl accidentally left behind her tablet and backpack. The staff attempted to retrieve the items, but their presence began to draw unwanted attention from the locals, forcing them to return to the present. Fortunately, without its charger, the tablet is of little use to anyone. As long as it doesn’t fall into the hands of the local lord, there’s no significant cause for concern.

Creation:
The TTRPO was established by NATO in response to a devastating disaster involving misuse of time travel technology. Though time travel was invented only 10 years ago, it quickly became apparent that the future is an unstable and perilous realm. The technology, which had initially shown promise, began to cause irreparable harm when attempts to travel forward in time resulted in age destabilization and temporal destruction.

It was soon discovered that traveling beyond the present day was inherently dangerous. Any attempt to jump forward into the future causes severe aging—a 40-year jump leads to rapid physical deterioration, and a 100-year leap results in complete disintegration, reducing the traveler to dust. There has been no successful workaround for this phenomenon, and attempts to travel further into the future are strictly forbidden.

In contrast, time travel to the past is far more reliable and stable. There are no adverse effects, and the historical events of the past remain intact, making it a key focus of TTRPO's operations. However, TTRPO agents work under extreme secrecy to prevent any interference with history. The organization was primarily created to prevent the wealthy elite from using time travel to manipulate the past for personal gain.
