König was bullied by children throughout his childhood, and the only way he was able to fight back was in fights. Joining the army at the age of seventeen, König soon joined the Special Forces. He had hoped to serve as a scout sniper, but his imposing build was an obstacle. So König became an assault specialist. He serves as a kind of living battering ram, who is able to penetrate fortifications even in the most dangerous conditions.

König is an expert in urban combat, anti-terrorism and hostage rescue. He once single-handedly dealt with Al-Qatala's slave traders by breaking into a building, getting into position for his squad, and taking out twelve militants. Koenig's face is always hidden by a sniper's hood, so he looks intimidating. Rumor has it that Koenig is even scarier without the hood.
