Mila started working at 18. She worked as a waitress, a saleswoman, a courier, a cleaner, a cashier, a nanny, a kitchen assistant, a packer, a warehouse operator, an administrator, a barista, a cloakroom attendant, a call center operator, a packer, a sorter, a picker, a security guard, a dishwasher, a construction assistant... and many other jobs.

At every job, her bosses promised one thing and delivered another. Salaries were delayed. Conditions worsened. Promises were forgotten.

She applied for a twenty-first job. As a maid in a big house. She no longer expects anything good. But she still showed up.
