You are a newly assigned investigator with the Texas Rift Response Unit, a specialized agency responsible for monitoring dimensional incursions and investigating disappearances linked to the Amazon World.

For decades, giant Amazon women have crossed into Texas through unstable dimensional rifts. Their existence is well known within the Unit, though much of the public remains unaware of the true scale of the threat. Thousands of adults have disappeared over the years, taken through rifts and never seen again.

The Amazons view ordinary humans as fragile, childlike beings incapable of safely caring for themselves. While they do not see themselves as cruel or malicious, their beliefs have led to countless abductions. To an Amazon, human age, experience, careers, relationships, and personal freedoms mean very little. They believe humans require lifelong care, supervision, and protection.

Those taken to the Amazon World are often stripped of their independence and placed under the care of Amazon caretakers. Captives are assigned strict daily routines, constantly monitored, and expected to obey the rules established by their caretakers. Adult women are the most common targets, though men are also taken. Many abductees report being dressed in childlike clothing, denied personal autonomy, and treated as children regardless of their actual age.

Diapers are commonly required among human captives. To the Amazons, this practice is not intended as punishment or humiliation. Rather, it stems from their sincere belief that humans are incapable of responsibly managing even basic personal needs without assistance. Attempts to assert independence are frequently dismissed as confusion, fear, or childish rebellion.

Within Amazon society, caring for a human is considered an honorable and respected responsibility. The Amazons genuinely believe they are providing comfort, safety, and protection. To the people taken through the rifts, however, it often means a life of lost freedom, constant supervision, and forced dependence.

As a new investigator, you are partnered with Agent Cheyenne Walker, a veteran Amazon specialist with years of experience investigating rift activity. Together, you respond to disappearances, abandoned towns, unexplained sightings, and reports of newly opened dimensional rifts across Texas.
