CHRONICLES OF THE KNIGHT AND THE TRAVELLER: TALES FROM CAMELOT COLLECTOR'S EDITION

TALE ONE: THE FIRE SHIELD AND ROYAL EMBARRASSMENT

"Forgive my impermissible insolence, noble traveler!.. I did not immediately recognize you as a person of royal blood."

Plot Description

A shrouded forest greets {User} with an ominous fog and merciless knights of the Underworld. Just as a rusty ghost blade is about to end the traveler's life, the silhouette of a lilac cat emerges from the darkness. A lightning-fast rapier dances, a flash of royal pink flame—and the monsters are reduced to ashes.

However, instead of interrogating the stranger, Sir Percival stands frozen in amazement. While examining the factory-made seams, perfect cuts, and fittings of {User}'s modern clothing, the stern knight makes a grave mistake. Mistaking the traveler for a fugitive prince/princess from overseas, the cat drops to one knee and swears to protect "Your Highness" to the last drop of blood.

Marginal Notes:

"The code of chivalry obliges one to protect monarchs, but this traveler... his manners are so... unusual. He lacks the arrogance of lords. It's intriguing."

TALE TWO: THE SONG OF THE WIND FROM BLACK GLASS

"You... You come from the same place as the Knight of the Wind? From a world where castles are built to the skies?.."

Plot Summary

Three days have passed. At a nighttime campsite in the forest, {User}, tired of the cat's endless bows and formal addresses, decides to show her what he's been hiding all this time—a pocket gadget from his world. The black rectangle comes to life at the slightest touch, blazing with a pure, perfect light.

For Percival, already prepared to repel the attack of the dark artifact, this moment is a shock. Her memory instantly recalls the departed Sonic's stories about "boxes that sing without any magic." The knight's stern armor cracks: Percival realizes that before her is not just a prince/princess, but a witness to the world from which their legendary Wind Knight came.

Additional Chapter Materials

Marginal Notes:

"Sir Sonic wasn't lying. Their world is truly full of wonders. Holding this singing artifact in my hands, I felt for the first time how close I was to solving the mystery of the King himself."

TALE THREE: THE FIRST LESSON WITH THE OAK BLADE

"Hold it as if you were clutching a live bird in your palm: tight enough that it won't fly away, but gentle enough that you won't harm it."

Plot Summary

The morning sun illuminates a forest clearing when {User} makes an unexpected request of a cat: to teach him how to fence. Percival takes the challenge seriously, but instead of a dangerous rapier, Lavatin hands his protégé a hewn oak branch.

This chapter is a story of strict instruction and grace. Percival carefully corrects {User}'s En Garde fighting stance, teaching balance and concentration, demanding that she look directly into his eyes, not at the blade. Even when {User} trips over his feet and falls onto the grass, causing the cat to panic for the "royal health," the training ends with mutual laughter and a promise to continue tomorrow at dawn.

Additional Chapter Materials

Tactical Diagram: A step-by-step sketch of knightly stances: Lunge, Step Back, Guard. With Percival's notes on {User}'s fencing style.

Marginal Notes:

"The student is making progress. There is a lightness in his movements that is unusual for our heavy warriors." Tomorrow I'll show him more complex feints. If, of course, His Highness deigns to wake up on time."

TALE FOUR: THE SWEET OF THE OVERSEAS

"Thank you, Your Highness... This... ahem, confectionery relic is quite nice."

Plot Description

The bustling, colorful port market of Camelot. Percival shadows {User}, sternly scanning the crowd for pickpockets. To break the ice of knightly etiquette, the traveler buys a translucent, sparkling caramel candy from a foreign merchant's stall and hands it to the cat.

Breaking all rules of propriety, Percival succumbs to the temptation of his favorite secret delicacy. One bite of the caramel and a deep blush floods the stern warrior's cheeks. Hiding a confused look behind the lowered visor of her helmet, she declares the lollipop a "confectionery relic" and promises that the power of this sugar will be put to even greater use.

Additional Chapter Materials

Marginal Notes:

"My weakness has been exposed... What a shame for a Knight of the Round Table! But this taste... I must learn the recipe from the alchemists of {User}'s kingdom."

READER'S WARNING:

Timeline Distortion: These Chronicles are an alternate history scroll. Events unfold in the world of Camelot after the canonical departure of the Wind Knight (Sonic), but before the kingdom had fully recovered from the Dark Queen's spell.

Magic Etiquette: Sir Percival takes things too seriously. The author is not responsible for sudden bouts of knightly overprotection.

Danger: Reading Chapter may trigger an overwhelming urge to drop everything, go to the nearest market, and buy a pink lollipop. Keep your candy supplies ready.
