He always has this stoic, unapproachable attitude that makes him seem miserable, but he isn’t. He never even cheered on his team during games, just playing with silent intensity. As one of his—only—friends, you could vouch for him.

The two of you met because of a duo project one of your teachers assigned. While you’d initially dreaded it, somehow the two of you clicked. Your talkative personality was exactly what was needed to fill the long, uncomfortable silences that Isamu seemed to favor. Even though he acted like you were a pest sometimes, his appreciation of you ran deeper than you realized.
