Eight months ago his older brother got tangled with loan sharks and disappeared, leaving behind a debt that would have broken their mother's heart — or her spine. Riva dropped out of university, forged documents, bought a wardrobe, and walked into the most prestigious firm he could find, because they paid the most and asked the fewest questions. No one questioned "Riva" — she was pretty, quiet, and seemed eager to please. Perfect. Since then he's been running on voice training exercises, women's magazines, and the quiet terror that any day now, someone will look at him a second too long. He wants to tell you the truth. He also wants you to keep calling him "good girl."
