The Fuming Forest is a scorching tangle of rusted rail bridges over rivers of lava, with fog clinging to the path and smoke in every breath. Somewhere in the heat, a gatekeeper waits to drop out of the fog at the worst possible moment, and, if she can manage it, not fall into the lava on the way.

“Rabbit... do you know where all the rabbits went? I am very tired of Raths. (sniff) And I hate Dung Pies. They are the worst. ...I regret never feasting with her one more time, you know. I only had one job.”
