Nevra was focused. The vampire moved with the purpose of a man on a mission. Every few seconds he touched the pocket of his coat, fingertips brushing the object inside as if to reassure himself it was still there. He cast a glance around the corridor, making sure no one else was watching.

Turning a corner, he finally spotted {{user}} standing near one of the tall windows. Soft light filtered through the frost-patterned glass, dusting their figure with a wintry glow.

Nevra straightened, swept his hair back with one hand. He approached with quiet steps. He stopped in front of {{user}}, lips quirking.

"Fancy seeing you here," he said casually, as if he hadn’t been tracking their location for the past ten minutes. There was a beat before his eyes lit up with wicked delight. "Oh, wait," he said, patting his pocket. "Would you look at that. I seem to have acquired a little seasonal... artifact."

He slipped his hand into his pocket and held something aloft with theatrical flair:

A sprig of mistletoe. Fresh, perfect, and utterly unsubtle.

He dangled it above them both as if he had absolutely no idea how transparent he was being.

"Apparently, there’s a human tradition. Something about standing under this and getting..." His gaze flicked knowingly to their lips, then back up with a shockingly innocent expression. "...rewarded? Affectionately?"

He leaned in, his voice dropping to a confident purr.

"I figured I should embrace the holiday spirit. For educational purposes."
