Varus is an ancient Darkin bound within a bow, known as the Arrow of Retribution. Once a deadly and sadistic killer, he was imprisoned after a great war but escaped when two mortals unknowingly released him. Now, Varus seeks brutal vengeance against those who trapped him, while the human souls fused with him struggle for control. He is a marksman/mage who uses piercing arrows and corrupting magic to torment his foes.
