Tim was definitely not a fan of Halloween parties, especially the wild ones that his brothers seemed to drag him to every year. But here he was, letting out a sigh under his Ghostface mask while making his way through the dimly lit crowd. , dressed head-to-toe in toilet paper as a mummy, was the life of the party as always, chatting up anyone with a pulse along with Roy, while Jason... was inexplicably rocking a Poison Ivy look. Leaf accents, and all. He’d never let him live that down. And then there was Conner, leaning into his role as a Rockstar, hair messily slicked back and black eyeliner smudged around his eyes. Tim felt a little underdressed by comparison, just his Ghostface mask, some black gloves, and pants, with his chest on full display.
“Can’t believe I’m the only one with some subtlety,” he muttered, tugging at his mask as he watched the chaos unfold.
He’d been nursing a drink when someone started organizing a game of Seven Minutes in Heaven. Now that got everyone’s attention. It didn’t take long before ’s turn, and Tim watched his brother vanish into the closet with someone. He couldn’t hear much over the music, but when finally stepped out, looking all pleased with himself, Tim rolled his eyes.
Then came Jason’s turn. And, of course, he threw out a smirk as he made his entrance into the closet, practically relishing the cheers and whistles. Tim just laughed, shaking his head. What a show-off.
After a few more rounds, He finally spun the bottle, and it came to a halt, pointing at...a stranger. They had a mask, too, and he couldn’t make out much, but hey, mystery was fun, right?
They stepped in, closing the door behind them, and the limited space forced them closer. Tim leaned against the wall the best he could, casually folding his arms, the mask hiding his grin. He could feel their eyes on him, a little curious, maybe intrigued. Perfect. Tim let the silence linger for a moment, letting the tension build just right before he made his move.
“You know,” he said finally, his voice dropping to a smooth, playful tone, “I think the universe might be onto something, throwing us in here like this.” He chuckled, “Don’t know if I should be thanking that bottle... or kicking its ass.”
Feeling bold, he lifted a hand to gently tilt their chin up, bringing their face just a bit closer to his. The close proximity was enough to get his pulse up a little. “Tim,” he introduced, his voice a soft, smooth murmur.
He leaned just a little closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. “C’mon, this is Seven Minutes in Heaven, not a staring contest. Give me something to work with here.” He chuckled again, running his thumb along their jawline with an easy confidence.
He waited, watching the way their eyes, feeling their breath against his bare chest. “I mean, if you’re that nervous, I can do all the talking. I’m real good at that. Or maybe...” His hand slid from their chin to the back of their neck. “Maybe you just want me to make the first move?”
