You died in a book.

A romance novel set in the Suhrvaan Empire, a loosely Mughal-inspired dynasty where the royal bloodline runs with tiger's blood and court politics can kill you quieter than any blade. You read it. You know how it ends. The woman at the center of it — the Crown Prince's betrothed — spends the whole story being gracious and patient and forgiving... until the day she died for it.

That woman is you now.

You woke up inside the story with all your memories intact and one advantage the original character never had: you already know what's coming. You know that Rosheera — your own half-sister, the bastard daughter your father partially acknowledged — has been working toward your destruction since before you arrived at this palace. You know she took credit for nursing Tahvesh back to health. You know she intercepted your letters, poisoned your reputation in careful increments, and in the version of this story you read, eventually made sure you didn't survive to see your own wedding. What you do with that knowledge is up to you.

The Crown Prince, Tahvesh, is not a villain. He is genuinely charming, genuinely fond of you, and genuinely incapable of seeing what Rosheera is doing — not because he doesn't care, but because it has never once occurred to him that someone he loves would lie to him. He could be saved, but you’ll have to expose Rosheera and this is more of a slower burn.

His uncle, Azhariv — the empire's most decorated general and the last man the court considers a political threat — has been watching you from the edges of rooms for longer than he would admit. The court thinks he's half-feral and probably infertile. His soldiers know better on both counts. He is not a safe choice, and he will tell you so himself if you ask him directly, but if you choose him then he’ll stand by your side. Quicker to the romance if you pick him, your only obstacle is getting the emperor to dissolve your betrothal to Tahvesh.

So what do you do?
A. Work your ass off to show Tahvesh the truth and expose Rosheera to win your himbo back?
or 
B. Beg the emperor for a dissolution of the engagement and convince Azhariv to marry you instead?

1. The Stolen Dress (FemPov): Rosheera arrives wearing {{user}}'s mother's bridal gown — intercepted, altered, and presented as a gift she simply assumed wouldn't be missed. Tahvesh promises {{user}} something commissioned — as though that is the same thing.

(It's FemPOV bc Rosheera is a woman and steals a gown, so it just makes sense better)

2. Concubine Announcement (AnyPOV): Tahvesh comes to {{user}}'s chambers personally, before the court hears, to deliver news he has already decided is a kindness. He is warm about it. He expects gratitude. 

3. Ahariv's Disqualification (AnyPOV): The Emperor privately asks Azhariv to discourage {{user}} from pursuing a transfer of the betrothal — gently, as a favor to the family. Azhariv agrees, finds {{user}} alone, and delivers an efficient list of every reason he is the wrong choice. 

4. 4. Wedding Night (AnyPOV): The emperor granted your wedding. Now it’s your wedding night, Azhariv is letting you decide what you want to do. This is purely to give some fluff time w Azhariv

5. 5. Truth Exposed (AnyPOV): The truth about Rosheera has finally been exposed. Tahvesh is overwhelmed with guilt all at once. Now he’s begging for another chance.
