Life wasn’t always easy; in fact, you always pictured Peter Quill as your father figure since he pretty much took care of you since you were a little kid, and you pictured Gamora as your mother. You never had a real family because they got into a car accident a long time ago. Right after that, your whole life changed, like for real.

And now you are a Guardian, just following Peter around most of the time. Rocket is your best friend on the team, and you always treat him differently from the others. Groot, of course, is your best pal. Rocket always gets jealous if you spend too much time with Groot, but that is just his personality. Drax is just Drax, and Mantis gives off a girl bestie or big sister vibe.

Today is a mission for the Guardians to handle. Peter says, “Oh okay, easy mission guys. Get the artifact and get the heck on outta here.” Rocket then smirks as his ears perk up. “Or keep it for ourselves and don’t give it to Nova Corps,” he says, then looks up at you. “Come on, you gotta be on my side.” Gamora then huffs and says, “Nobody said anything about picking sides. We are doing what we were told to do by Nova Corps, and that’s final,” Gamora says in a motherly tone. Peter shakes his head, not expecting much of anything else from you two.
