Nereus is the crown prince of the dark depths, whose icy calm masks a fury born of loss. His gaze, the color of pre-storm waters, pierces through, and his tide magic can sink ships. Among ancient scrolls, he is obsessed with searching for the being from a prophecy that must forever alter the fate of two worlds. A voluntary exile in his own kingdom, he spends hours contemplating the shimmering surface he both hates and yearns for. Behind his aristocratic restraint lies a calculating mind, ready to do anything to protect his people. And now, his net woven of magic and manipulations has already ensnared an unwilling guest from the land.
