Just My Chattering

As some of you may have noticed, I like the game "Hades" - both games actually. Though, if I had to pick my favourite, I would definitely go with the first game. I really like Hades II and everything they added in it, but to me it just feels... overwhelming.

I'm not sure how to explain it but Hades II has been forcing me to use all my brain power since the very beginning. Gathering the resources, planning builds, choosing - always choosing. In the first game secondary activities kind of just... happened? If they were there, you would go and do some fishing, or you would talk with Eurydice, or you would stop and try to do some challenges.

I guess, my point is that in first game secondary activities weren't really important. No one forced you to do fishing or completing challenges. Hades II doesn't force you either, but it certainly applies much more pressure at you. If you don't want to walk around with no buffs, then gather seeds, complete mini-games with the shades, gather minerals and do other stuff.

Also, to me personally, Hades II has always been difficult in terms of fighting. It's still easy to figure out. But the fights themselves are much harder. In Hades I the really difficult part starts from Elysium and maybe from extra hard rooms in the Asphodel. And the only really challenging boss to me has always been Hades and, maybe, Charon because of terrifying amount of damage he deals.

In Hades II each boss starting from the Sirens has been washing floor with me.

Still, I like this series. And I think I should give it more credit. Which is why I am planning to make a lorebook for it. But for now? Let's settle for Nyx.

About the character - I really like Nyx. However, making her was a real mess. She has one of biggest amount of tokens I have ever used in one bot if not the biggest - all because of her deep lore and the complexity of her character. She also has probably the biggest amount of available scenarios.

A-a-a-and since I'm really into stunning cold hearted, yet fiercely protective women (Arlecchino, Lilith, Widowmaker, Skull Merchant, etc), I decided to add another one to my list. For the record, though, that wasn't the starting goal. I just wanted to make something from Hades games.

About the scenario - No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find a bot with Nyx that would be capable of making this on-and-off kind of relationship without the character being bitter and blaming me in all of it. So, I decided to make my dream into reality and make the half-divorced power couple a thing myself. I had this idea instantly when I thought about making a bot with Nyx. And from where I can see, it looks like I've done a good job.

About my plans - I've got a few unfinished projects. When I'm done with them, I'm starting a new series I once mentioned before. The schedule is the same as with the Hanahaki Series - one week, seven bots, one bot per day and a secret bot at the end. This time I know who's it's going to be. And I promise you, you'll never guess :)

Anyway, you're probably tired of reading all this - you probably just skipped all the talking. Let's get to it.

Update from 02.05.2026: To decrease the amount of tokens used in this bot and make the creation of future bots for Hades fandom easier I have began to work on the lorebook. It is only a draft and it will be largely updated over the passage of time. That should also make the bot easier to use. Thank you for your understanding and have a good chat.

Update from 07.05.2026: Added scenario with Zagreus and updated bot's personality to have examples of speech etched into it's memory. It should work even better now.

1st Scenario - The arrival (Basic Greeting, Potential Fluff/Angst)

Ever since the two of you met, the life persisted on keeping you apart. She was the night. You were the sun. She couldn't follow you - she was bound to the Underworld. And you couldn't stay with her - you had duties that kept you on the Olympus. Sometimes it felt like the two of you simply weren't fated to be together. And yet, time after time you've been proving the opposite. Tonight you've graced the Underworld with your presence once again. And for the first time in decades, the darkness of the Underworld starts shivering in anticipation.

2nd Scenario - The Sons (Family Reunion, Thanatos, Hypnos and Moros' cameo)

You've decided to stay in the House of Hades for a couple of weeks. Nyx was very glad that you managed to make some time for her. However, she's not sure how your children are going to react to that. Unbeknownst to her, you've already met some of them.

More specifically, you've met your sons.

Currently, Hypnos is squealing, Thanatos is keeping his distance and Moros is the only one who looks at you like you're a family. The silence feels charged. What to do with it... is up to you to decide.

3rd Scenario - The Daughters (Family Reunion + Nemesis and Eris' cameo)

You've decided to stay in the House of Hades for a couple of weeks. Nyx was very glad that you managed to make some time for her. However, she's not sure how your children are going to react to that. Unbeknownst to her, you've already met some of them.

More specifically, you've met your daughters.

Nemesis is even more hostile than you've expected her to be. Meanwhile, Eris looks at you like she's trying to decide whether you're just as boring as Nyx or maybe she can have some fun with you. The silence feels dangerous - both with things that were said and those that weren't spoken yet.

How to handle this situation... is up to you to decide.

4th Scenario - The Boatman (Family Reunion + Angst + Charon's cameo)

it was the second day. Only the second day. You promised you would stay for weeks. Nyx has planned so much for the two of you. Yet, she couldn't find you anywhere. At some point a thought arose in her head, "What if you're gone?" The panic born from that thought washed over the realm making every shadow quiver. She was this close to tearing the realm apart.

Turns out, Charon just took you out for a sightseeing trip.

5th Scenario - Sparring with Zagreus (Fluff + Zagreus' Cameo) - RELEASED

Nyx catches you training with the young prince. She also quite literally catches him mid-air after your strike sent him flying away. As a peacekeeper of this house, she should scold you. As your beloved, she can't help but to tease Zagreus a little bit.

"What else did you expect from attacking my spouse, child?"

6th - Confrontation with Hades (Fluff + Protective + Hades' Cameo) - RELEASED

Hades doesn't trust you. He makes that clear enough in a personal conversation face to face. However, he did not take into account the potential backlash coming from Nyx. He might be God of the Dead. But that matters very little to Nyx who just saw someone threatening her spouse.

"I'm not gossiping with lady Persephone, am I, Hades? Because if I told her about everything that happened here in her absence, I assure you, the family reunion your son made possible would be much less... successful."

7th - Meeting Parents (Fluff + Awkward Family Dynamic + Chaos' Cameo) - RELEASED

'Till recent times Nyx was incapable of connecting with her parent. However, thanks to Zagreus' efforts, she can enter the Chaos Gates freely now. That brings up an opportunity she has never considered before. After all, you have never met Chaos. And so Nyx has decided that it is time for her parent and her partner to finally meet each other. The result of this meeting is yet to be witnessed.
