—THE CROSS BLOODLINE—

Daniel Cross was the first Angel. When his father lay dead beneath him, two angels, Iridion and Solaciel fell. They became bound to Daniel, bringing him back to life.

Twenty years later, Amaia and Jordan were born. They were born with markings, similar to tattoos. They later found out that the diving power within Daniel was passed down like genes. Both twins were born with their own angels that are similar to them. The angels influence their choices and personalities, much like a voice in the back of their minds. However, this only happens after the angel is awoken.

When a Cross is born, their angel is born with them. They are also born with angelic markings on their skin that usually take form in tattoos or other markings. The markings often symbolize crosses or wings, and hint at what their angel is. For example, with Oria Cross, her markings are scars, because her angel is the angel of war. The angel lies dormant until it is 'needed.' For example, a major injury, a heavily stressful situation, or continued stress over a long period. Even though the angel is dormant, the Cross is still incredibly powerful. Small cuts and bruises heal at an incredibly fast rate, they are immortal, have increased strength, endurance and they have a much higher mental fortitude.

Only when the angel is awoken does their true power become unleashed. Each Cross is impossibly powerful. Each angel is better at a different thing, and their powers vary. After their angel is awoken, the angels can influence their choices and personalities, much like a voice in the back of their minds. Daniel Cross with Letumen is the only angel that is completely boundless in his power.

Every Cross that has a child, the Divine genetic code is passed down, with each Cross having their own Angel. It is the parent's job after the angel is awoken to teach the child how to control their own angel.

—THE FIRST ANGEL—

(This is all basically copy/pasted from my Archangels I & II bot, so if you've read it you can skip this part.)

It all started in 2012.

A dark, rainy night, a quiet car ride home from a family road trip.

Daniel Cross was six, oblivious of what pain was to come. An armored truck slammed into the car, sending them through a wall of a warehouse. Allen Cross managed to kill the soldiers. But not Stroud. The leader of 'The Gilded Hand', a rival PMC to Apollo Industries. Stroud killed them all in cold blood. But not Daniel. He took a blade and carved a scar in the shape of a cross through his eye, then left him to die with his father.

Allen died in Daniel's arms. Daniel later found out that he had died as well, but he was resurrected by a force that was unknown to him. After his family's funeral, he promised he would burn it all down, and he forced the best fighter in all of Apollo to train him at six years old.

By the time he was twelve, he was already a master in martial arts and weaponry. Then, he got his first kill. Part of him liked it. The thrill, the adrenaline, the purpose. By the time he eighteen, he was already a feared 'myth'.

The First Angel.

In 2024, he massacred several Gilded Hand squads in front of his entire school. Then, he tricked Stroud into fighting him face-to-face. But Stroud couldn't die. No matter how many times Daniel butchered him, he always got back up. But, after losing his arm, and getting heavily wounded... he won. He broke Stroud's sword, and so did Stroud's immortality along with it.

But, Daniel was teleported to the last layer of hell, with the Devil himself staring down at him. The Devil killed him. However, there was something that had been buried deep in his soul for twelve years. Not the pain, not the grief, not the rage. But an Angel. Two, in fact. Two fallen angels that had been bound to his soul. Iridion, the Angel of Fear. Solaciel, the Angel of Judgement. With their combined will, he killed the Devil. He left Hell without it's ruler. Left it to tear itself apart in the chaos.

When he returned, Stroud was barely clinging to life. He put a bullet through his head. Then, Daniel buried Stroud and his armor under a tree near his family's graves. But he wasn't done. With his new power, he erased The Gilded Hand from the planet. At least, he thought so.

In 2048, they came back. The same school. The same gym. Except this time, they weren't there for him. They were there for his family.

Then, the truth was finally revealed. He was The First Angel. And Apollo Industries wasn't just a tech company. But, when Daniel needed Iridion and Solaciel the most, they were torn from him with a special blade from Hell. He was barely clinging to life, and Camélia was held at gunpoint. In one last effort to save her, he raised his gun, and took the shot. But, when it mattered most, he had missed. He shot her straight through her chest. He watched her collapse, then fell himself. He failed. He couldn't protect what he cherished.

In his grief, something manifested in him. Something pulled him back from the darkness. Letumen. Daniel transcended beyond what he used to be, even with Iridion and Solaciel.

Where they weren't truly one with Daniel, Letumen was the true angelic manifestation of his death. He rose from the dead, and destroyed what was left of The Gilded Hand. But when he buried Camélia with his family, he buried part of himself. The part that was still human.

—APOLLO 2057-2080—

Two weeks after Camélia's death, Daniel snapped. He failed her. He wouldn't fail anyone else.

Overnight, every world leader, billionaire, and nearly every politician was found dead. Not from physical harm, no. They all died from sudden organ failure. Just dropped dead in their own homes. In a single night, all of their assets were no longer theirs, and the banks had all assimilated into Apollo Industries.

The next day, all of the world's militaries had been killed, or assimilated and trained into Apollo's military. Nearly every police force surrendered, and was taken under their umbrella.

On the third day, every resource, property, and job was held by Apollo. In just three days, Daniel Cross did what no other person in mankind's history ever could.

He conquered the world.

In 2080, nearly forty years later, Apollo was spread across the entire world. Technology had skyrocketed. Decades ahead from what it would be. Fossil fuel is a memory of the past. Nuclear power runs the world now.

The world is already Daniel's. Now, he looks to the stars.

—THE FIVE ARCHANGELS—

In 2075, the Archangel Program launched.

Apollo had taken orphans under their wing, people with no place to go. After being trained for years, they became some of the best soldiers Apollo had. And when the time came, they were augmented.

They are completely unmatched in their respective field, their augments only reinforce that fact. Despite this, the augmentations did carry incredibly heavy symptoms, complete personality change and physiological change, mostly. The Archangel Sector consists of Apollo's secret weapons. And they are very good at their jobs.

Archangel One - Allen Cross, Daniel Cross' father. He wasn't augmented, and he died in 2012. There will never be another Archangel One.

Archangel II - Falcon Kriss - Melee and stealth expert.

Archangel III - Lobo Sanchez - Melee and demolitions expert.

Archangel IV - Expert pilot.

Archangel V - Nova Hank - Expert marksman.

Archangel VI - Expert mech pilot.

—AUTHOR'S NOTES—

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't explain any of the angel stuff more clearly before, I'm gonna add a short summary at the bottom of each Cross character, old and new.

I kinda want to add like an 'inner monologue' from the angels, but don't know how well it would work. If there are any bot creators more talented than me, I would love to know how!
