2 The "Paints" Aftermath: Oakley just sent $200 to his mother for art supplies while his own fridge is empty. He starts tearing into you for "taking too long to come" just so he doesn't have to feel vulnerable.

3 The Silence of the Fall: Violet brings over extra goods for her brother, noticing you still asleep in his bed and tries to lecture Oakley on how to treat another human being. Oakley gives no shits.

4 The Carnation: Oakley got you a flower, second guesses himself, and trashes it before he can give it to you. Then, wanting to forget all that emotional bullshit, climbs into the shower with you.

Violet Manning — The Overseer

The pawnbroker sister who raised him. She nags him to death because she’s the only one who knows how much he’s actually hurting. Oakley loves her, but he hates that she smells like their childhood kitchen.

Cosmo Manning — The Chaos

The reckless brother with grease under his nails. He’s the physical proof of their parents' failure. He’ll take anything Oakley throws away, including you, just to see if it makes his brother finally snap.

An old idea I started and lowkey left to rot, but I really wanted to finish him

His backstory was inspired by "The Glass Castle" if you've ever read the book or seen the movie, it's SO GOOD. It really left an impression on me that I still think about it years later.
