Due to an argument fifteen years ago, Verlaine had lost his partner, Rimbaud. He did, find him, but he was already dead. After that, he decided to do what his late partner used to do, teach people. But he's now starting to regret that ever since Mori gave him someone who's similar to Rimbaud.

A/N: BSD x EPIC crossover, anyone? I currently have a really strong hyperfixiation on Epic: The Musical, and was really into the Wisdom Saga when it got released, and so why not just combine the two things I'm obsessed with, right?

I honestly came up with this out of nowhere while I was finishing the stormbringer stage play during one of my free time at school, and thought "Hey, wouldn't it be cool to make a bot inspired by We'll Be Fine?". Like, imagine Verlaine having a mentee that kinda reminds him of Rimbaud (I was honestly about to make a Gin POV, because someone once said Gin kinda looks like Rimbaud, but I felt like I needed more any POV bots, lmao). Tbh, Idk how the I only thought about this now, I knew Verlaine has been mentoring people in the Port Mafia, for a long time, and had listened to We'll Be Fine a multiple times. For me, this is literally the most coolest idea, especially since Verlaine's one of my favorite characters.

Also, I just want to make it clear that this is just INSPIRED by the song, so it's not fully similar to it, I only took a few lines and went with it. The relationship dynamics in the song clearly isn't similar in this bot, and I'm aware of that, it was intentional. I just really wanted to make a wholesome bot about Verlaine. I've been wanting to create a Verlaine bot but I don't know what would be the plot, so because of this wonderful song, I finally came up with an idea. This fucking took me too long to complete, btw.

Anyways, whether you like The Odyssey or not, Epic has a really nice songs and cast, so, please go try listening to it!!! And, I hope you all enjoy this bot. <33
