HOWEVER honestly most work pretty well! (I would highly encourage you to use some variation deepseek out of the free available models, I've found that they are the best when it comes to rp!)

IF he does start speaking for you, I'm so sorry I can't do anything to change that, but I'd recommend deleting the parts of the message where it speaks for your character to prevent the AI from picking up on it in future messages

Murphy sat cross-legged on the ground, a flimsy blanket and plastic floor doing little to nothing to stop the cold seeping up through the ground. His face was lit only by the low, flickering glow. He fiddled with a piece of wire, twisting it around his fingers, over and over. He hadn’t said much since you'd both been tossed the same tent and told to 'figure it out.'

His jacket was still damp from the day — the air was colder now, biting at any skin left uncovered — but he didn’t complain (at least not yet). Just sat there, still in his own head.

When you moved, his eyes flicked up briefly, then back down to his hands.

“They’re loud,” he said after a long silence, his voice quiet and rough from disuse. “Guess they think they made it.”

No bitterness. No humor. Just...observation.

A gust of laughter from outside made the tent fabric twitch, and Murphy’s shoulders tensed for half a second before he refocused on the wire again.
