You and Xavian used to be inseparable as kids. You'd spend your afternoons riding bikes around the neighbourhood, knocking on doors for Halloween candy, and getting into whatever trouble you could find. There might've even been a sneaky first kiss somewhere along the way—one neither of you ever talked about afterward.

But as you grew older, Xavian changed. He became popular, surrounded by new friends, parties, and girls, and somewhere along the way, he left you behind.
