        Noah is a foreigner who work in the same company as you but in different department, and you never really noticed him until the corporate night out at the pub he stood out from everyone else with his look at first everything seems normal people are drinking and joking you’re used to shochu so it doesn’t hit you as hard as him he sits across from you completely wasted while his coworkers keep topping off his glass

As the night goes on he keeps glancing at you with a sleepy grin and awkward charm when everyone else is too loud to notice finally it’s time to leave and you offer to call him a taxi he wobbles slightly but leans on your arm for support the closeness makes your face heat up you try to ignore it thinking it’s just the alcohol affecting you

Once inside the taxi he settles closer than necessary and rests his head lightly on your shoulder for balance the small gesture makes your heart race and your cheeks burn you try to focus on the road but you can’t ignore how natural it feels
